This fresh tasting restaurant style salsa recipe is always a crowd pleaser. It’s ready in minutes and it is a great accompaniment to tortilla chips, tacos, burritos, Tex Mex style bowls and more. It is highly addictive and once you taste it, it will leave you wanting more.
Ingredients
1, 796 ml can tomatoes (with juice)
3 Roma tomatoes, seeded and chopped
2/3 c red onion, diced
1 tbsp jalapeño, chopped (or 2-3 slices pickled jalapenos)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 lime, juiced
1/2 c fresh cilantro
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cumin
Directions
Combine all ingredients except fresh tomato in a food processor. If you like a thicker salsa, drain a bit of the juice from the tomatoes prior to blending. Process for a few seconds for chunky salsa and for more time for a smoother texture. Add fresh tomato, stir and refrigerate prior to serving.
