Tucked away in the heart of Grey County, The June Motel’s Beaver Valley location is the ultimate countryside retreat. With only eight beautifully styled rooms, this charming escape is designed to feel like a cozy English country inn, complete with vintage-inspired decor and just the right amount of whimsy. It’s the third and most intimate of The June Motel’s locations, joining its sister properties in Prince Edward County (made famous by the Netflix show Motel Makeover) and Sauble Beach.

Located near the village of Kimberley, The June Beaver Valley sits right on the banks of the Beaver River. It’s a place where time slows down and nature takes centre stage. Start your day with a complimentary light breakfast and fresh coffee, and later in the day, get into true wellness mode, sweating it out in the outdoor sauna followed by a refreshing cold plunge in the river just steps away. In the evenings, guests can gather around the fire pit for a classic summer treat, complimentary s’mores, provided nightly.

Inside the June, you’ll find thoughtful communal spaces stocked with books, board games, and everything you need to unwind, including a relaxing multipurpose yoga studio space. Whether you’re there to relax or explore, The June provides the perfect balance of cozy and curated.

Beaver Valley is an ideal home base for exploring Grey County. From scenic waterfalls and hidden hiking trails to local cideries, wineries and restaurants (FYI- Grey County is a hidden culinary gem), there’s no shortage of things to see and sip. Looking for a little extra pampering? The renowned Scandinave Spa Blue Mountain is also just a short drive away. If you’re craving a getaway that blends countryside calm with curated charm, The June Motel in Beaver Valley is calling. Bring your book, your bathing suit, and your appetite for local food and adventure, you’ll be glad you did.
